The “World Citizen” concept provides an opportunity for people all around the globe to expand their world view, become continuous learners, challenge perceptions, embrace cultural differences, and learn about how civility, humanity, service, and kindness can ensure that each of us, our families, friends, co-workers, communities, and neighbors around the world, can live and learn about each other and about the incredible world around us. The World Citizen Certificate Programs offer an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills to exhibit and to teach competencies required to be a World Citizen.
There are six certificate programs (see below) and four levels of certification offered in each knowledge area. Every program includes online and “live” online training, participant study materials, practice activities/homework, an exam, and take-away ready to use lessons.
There are two categories of certificate programs: one for Trainers (people who will teach and train others) and one for General Public (people interested for personal development).

Certificate in Civility for Children and Youth
- This certificate is intended to support those who work with children and youth ages 5-8 e.g., parents, pre-school and elementary school teachers, childcare workers.
- Program graduates of Level 1 will take home 5 ready-to-use lessons that they can use/share with others. Lessons include:
- Interacting in a Global World- Listening Skills
- Solving Problems
- Emotional Intelligence
- Non-judgment
- Awareness of World Citizens
- Graduates of Level 1 will have option to continue on through Levels 2, 3, and ultimately Master Certification.
- This program is 2 full days when delivered LIVE in person
- Online option is available for Level 1
Certificate in Civility for Business
- This certificate is intended to support those who work in business- profit or not-for-profit in any sector.
- Program graduates will take home 5 ready-to-use lessons that they can use/share with others. Lessons include:

- This certificate is intended to support those who teach or train or manage others who want to foster a global citizen perspective and approach in those they work with. The program addresses 21st century themes
- Program graduates of Level 1 will take home 5 ready-to-use lessons that they can use/share with others. Lessons include:

- Being a Good Global Citizen

- This certificate is intended to support those who work in the service, tourism or hospitality industry.

SPECIALIZATION: Certificate in Civility for Global Teacher
-Dual Certificate (includes Certificates for Children/Youth and World Citizen)
- This certificate is designed specifically for teachers of children and youth who want to be able to instill knowledge about topics that are important for fostering a global perspective. The certificate includes both the Certificate for Children and Youth as well as the certificate for Global Citizen.
- Program graduates of Level 1 will take home 10 ready to use lessons (see those listed above for Children/Youth Certificate and World Citizen Certificate) plus 2 bonus lessons.
- This program is 4 full days when delivered LIVE in person
